H1GHR MUSIC in Chicago!

So not gonna lie, I was real hesitant walking into this concert. Hip-hop isn’t necessarily the biggest genre of music that I listen to so I was concerned about how I was going to like this experience.

I can honestly say that I had a great time! The music was fantastic and the atmosphere was 🔥🔥🔥! I genuinely wished that the concert could keep going, but all good things must come to an end and all that jazz.

One of my favorite parts of the concert was when Raz Simone parted the crowd and came down the aisle. He ended up stopping on this half-wall for a bit before hopping up on the table behind it. I was sitting two tables down from here; it was really cool to have him perform so close to me!

I absolutely adored how this venue was set up! There’s a GA area right in front of the stage up until the half-wall. Behind that was a row of benches and small circular tables and a bunch of jazz lounge style seating. H1GHR MUSIC came to Park West and I loved the versatility in the venue (though I wish the Security staff would’ve been a bit friendlier).

Woodie Gochild rocked the stage with his spitfire line delivery. His songs are so catchy…..I’ve had ‘Let’s Get It’ stuck in my head for days 😅

My favorite set of the night came from PHE Reds. He mixed up the show with a beautiful acoustic set. I love acoustics so much and it was a lovely way for him to really stand out to me. My only problem is that I didn’t get any videos because I was too busy falling in love ❤️

I’m so thankful to Siva for bringing H1GHR MUSIC on this tour! I had such an amazing time at this concert and the PCD hit me hard with this one! Hopefully I’ll get to see them live again!
