Park Junhee: Suncheon’s Kangta

Park Junhee was born on June 2, 1994 in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, South Korea.  He has three sisters (though unfortunately one has now passed away) and he is the youngest of his remaining sisters.  In middle school, Junhee was inspired to be a singer after he saw Rain’s Rainism.  He developed a taste for music from there and went to a music academy to learn as much as he could.  At age 19 he moved to Seoul and became a trainee at Jellyfish Entertainment.

You may have guessed by now, but it is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to November’s Artist Spotlight: Jun from A.C.E!

JunheeJun was a trainee for seven years before he finally debuted as the leader, lead vocalist and lead dancer of A.C.E under Beat Interactive in 2017.  Since then he has had several cameos in shows such as “I Need Romance 3”, “Meloholic”, and “Age of Youth 2”.  Jun also appeared in the Kdrama “Persevere, Goo Hae Ra” as a member of the kpop group Impact. He’s also appeared on “I Can See Your Voice” and acted in the musical “Peste” alongside Jeongmin from Boyfriend.  Jun competed on “The Unit’ where he ended ranked 21st.

He almost always has a smile on his face and lights up a room.  Jun’s laughter is so infectious but he can’t tell a joke to save his life, as evidenced by the members ranking him as the least funny in the group.  Jun is the biggest scaredy cat you can imagine and gets startled easily by sudden movements.  He’s an absolute teddy bear but can also be really intense and stare through your soul.

This week, we’re going to take you through some of our favorite moments with Junhee and showcase his many talents as an artist and actor! Stay tuned for our Artist Spotlight and keep up with Jun through A.C.E’s official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
