Starting her music career in 2007, UEE became a member of girl group Five Girls.  However, it was not meant to be as their company, Good Entertainment, had financial troubles and Five Girls could not debut.  Just two years later, she would debut in After School with their song Diva.  2009 would also be the year UEE would debut as an actress when she was cast in Queen Seondeok in July and You’re Beautiful in October.  She joined the project group 4Tomorrow with Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain, Hyuna and KARA’s Seungyeon and they released the single Dugeundugeun Tomorrow.

In the coming years she would go on to be cast in several dramas including Birdie Buddy, Ojakgyo Family, Jeon Woo-chi, and Golden Rainbow.  UEE has also starred in television series such as We Got Married, Law of the Jungle, Barefooted Friends, Fists of the Shaolin Temple, and was even a permanent host on Music Bank. Sok Sok Sok, her first solo single, was released in 2011 and she co-wrote Hero in 2013, which she then performed on Barefooted Friends.

May 31, 2017 UEE’s contract with Plesid Entertainment ended and she graduated from After School.  She signed with Yuleum Entertainment in June and starred in Manhole with Jaejoong shortly thereafter.  Now, UEE continues to stun viewers with her passion for acting and her dedication to the characters she plays.
