OSTs from Chungha

“Pit-A-Pat” – Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon

Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon stars Park Hyung-sik as Ahn Min-hyuk, rich heir and CEO of the gaming company Ainsoft, Park Bo-young as Do Bong-soon, a young woman who possesses incredible strength, and Jisoo as In Guk-doo, the police officer who holds Bong-Soon’s heart.  Bong-Soon struggles to control her strength as she gets hired to protect Min-hyuk from the death threats he’s been receiving.

Chungha sang “Pit-A-Pat” which is Strong Woman Do Bong-Soo’s fourth OST.  It’s such a light song and really makes you want to smile as you listen to it.  The song talks about meeting someone who makes your heart flutter and wanting to be close to them no matter what.  It’s such a bright and cheery song and Chungha’s voice flows over the notes perfectly!

“Remember” – The Call

The Call was created by producer Lee Seon-young, who also brought us the incredible show I Can See Your Voice.  The design of this show was to bring together artists from different genres and have them collaborate to make a new song.

Chungha was the hidden card and only performed in the 2nd and final project of Season 1.  The song was titled “Remember” and she lends her voice with many other talented artists including SHINee’s Taemin, Turbo’s Kim Jong-kook, Gummy, Crush, Block B’s Taeil, BewhY, AOMG’s Gray and Loco, and many others.  The song is a beautiful anthem to remember everything throughout the year and to “remember” that 2018 isn’t the end.

“Sunshine” – Aura Kingdom

Aura Kingdom is an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Play Game) published by Aeria Games in 2014.  It is a free-to-play game and was given a 6.1 of 10 rating.  Players become Envoys who are tasked with saving Azuria from the Darkness that plagues it.  You can choose from fifteen different classes for your character and one Eidolon, a pet who grows and evolves with you throughout the game.

Chungha’s song “Sunshine” is an upbeat, ‘go out and get em’ kind of song and it really fits the mood of the game.  It’s really catchy and sometimes I get it stuck in my head! It’s just one of those songs that you can’t help but to like.

Chungha has one of my favorite voices in kpop and I’m so happy when I hear her voice in a drama! Beyond these, Chungha has also done OSTs for My Fair Lady, Luv Pub, Where Stars Land, and Hotel del Luna.  Have you guys heard any of these OSTs?  Do you have a favorite?
